Running gear, axles, steering - Edition 05.2021  
– Do not remove any other bolts until the previously un‐  
screwed bolt has been replaced by a new one.  
The camber adjustment range is limited by the tolerances of  
the holes in the subframe. If the specified value is not reached  
by shifting the subframe, the subframe and the body must be  
inspected.  
– Now camber may be adjusted to specification by moving  
subframe.  
– Move subframe -1- sideways until camber is the same on  
both sides ⇒ Rep. gr. 44; Specifications for wheel alignment.  
– Tighten bolts -2-.

Adjusting camber on rear axle  
– Loosen nut -4- on inside of spring control arm -3-.

– Adjust camber by turning eccentric bolt -2-.  
Note  
The maximum adjustment range is 90° to the left or right from  
the centre.  
– Renew and tighten nut -4-. Counterhold at eccentric bolt -2-  
while doing this.  
– Check camber value again after tightening nut -4- ⇒ Rep.

Tightening torques  
♦ ⇒ Rep. gr. 42; Assembly overview – track rod  
♦ ⇒ Rep. gr. 42; Assembly overview – spring control arm

Adjusting toe at rear axle  
– Loosen nut -5- on inner side of track rod -3-.  
– Turn eccentric bolt -2- until specification is attained.
