DANGER
Danger to life from high voltage.
Electric shocks or arcs may lead to serious injuries or death.
– Suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) must be
worn for the subsequent work steps.
– The subsequent work steps must be supervised by an
additional specialist with appropriate qualification.
– Outside the hazard area, the additional authorised special‐
ist can support the HVE as required within the scope of his
or her qualification.
Put on the required protective equipment for the subsequent
work steps:
♦ Arc flash resistant clothing (at least APC 2, at least 318 kJ)
♦ Helmet with arc flash resistant visor (at least APC 2, at least
318 kJ)
♦ Arc flash resistant gloves with nitrile glove liners (at least
APC 2, at least 318 kJ), insulating up to at least 500 V
♦ Safety shoes with ESD protection
The switching unit for high-voltage battery, negative terminal
-SX7- will henceforth be referred to as “switching unit, negative
terminal”.
The switching unit for high-voltage battery, positive terminal
-SX8- will henceforth be referred to as “switching unit, positive
terminal”.
Note
The battery regulation control unit -J840- and switching unit
for high-voltage battery, negative terminal -SX7- are calibrated
together in the factory.
Important
•
The battery regulation control unit -J840- and switching unit
for high-voltage battery, negative terminal -SX7- must be
renewed together.
