precisely, use the scale -2- for coolant additive G13.
♦ Please observe disposal instructions!
– Check coolant additive concentration after road test again.

Coolant level: checking, replenishing
coolant if necessary
– Check coolant level in coolant expansion tank with engine
cold.
♦ Delivery inspection: coolant level is at least at “MAX mark‐
ing”.
♦ During delivery inspection, coolant level above “MAX mark‐
ing” is permissible as well.
♦ The excessive amount of coolant does not need to be ex‐
tracted as the coolant level in new vehicles will decrease
after the system has been bled.
♦ Inspection: coolant level is above “min. marking”.

Charging cable bag: securing in lug‐
gage compartment
Note
Applies only if a subwoofer (PR number 9VG) is installed in the
luggage compartment recess.
– Stow all charging cables in charging cable bag -1- and se‐
cure charging cable bag on fastening ring in luggage com‐
partment using snap hook -2-.

Engine and components in engine
compartment: inspecting for leaks and
damage (from above and below)
– If necessary, remove motor compartment cover (noise insu‐
lation) -bottom- ⇒ page 51 .
Inspect as follows:
– Check engine and components in engine compartment for
leaks and damage.
– Lines, hoses and connections
♦ Cooling and heating system
♦ Air conditioning system
♦ And brake system
Check for leaks, abrasion, porousness, cracks, correct seating
and attachment in retainers.
Note
♦ Any detected defects must be rectified as repair measures.
♦ If fluid loss is greater than can be expected through normal
use, determine source and rectify (repair measure).
