4.2
Removing and installing alarm horn
[H12]
The alarm horn -H12- will henceforth be referred to as “alarm
horn”.
Removing
– Remove plenum chamber cover ⇒ General body repairs,
exterior; Rep. gr. 50; Bulkhead; Removing and installing ple‐
num chamber cover.
Note
The shear nut -3- cannot be removed without being damaged.
– Destroy shear nut -3- using suitable workshop equipment.

– Remove alarm horn -2- until electrical connector -1- is ac‐
cessible.
– Disconnect electrical connector -1-.
– Remove alarm horn -2-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– Tighten new shear nut until head shears off.

Removing and installing anti-theft
alarm sensor [G578]
The anti-theft alarm sensor -G578- will henceforth be referred to
as “anti-theft alarm sensor”.
The front interior light -WX1- will henceforth be referred to as
“front interior light”.
Removing
– Remove front interior light ⇒ Rep. gr. 96; Removing and
installing front interior light [WX1].
– Release retaining tabs -2- in direction of -arrow A-.
– Remove individual sensors -1- from front interior light.
