Removing
– Remove button trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep.
gr. 70; Front door trims; Removing and installing button trim.
– Release fasteners -2-.
– Remove window regulator operating unit -1- in direction of
-arrow-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– The window regulator operating unit must be heard to en‐
gage.

senger side window regulator button

Front passenger side window regulator button -E716- will
henceforth be referred to as “window regulator button”.

release button [E233]
The rear lid remote release button -E233- will henceforth be
referred to as “rear lid remote release button”.
Removing
– Remove front door trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70; Front door trims; Removing and installing front
door trim.
– Release locking lugs -2-.
– Remove rear lid remote release button -1-.
