– Disconnect electrical connectors -3-.
– Unscrew nuts -2-.
– Remove centre tail light cluster -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Removing and installing tail light clus‐
ter [MX3]/[MX4]
The left tail light cluster -MX3- and right tail light cluster -MX4-
will henceforth be referred to as “right tail light cluster”.
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side
as an example.
Removing
– Use a commercially available plastic wedge to release tail
light cluster cover -1- in direction of -arrow- from bottom
towards top.
– Remove tail light cluster cover -1- towards rear.
– Unscrew bolts -2-.

– Remove tail light cluster -1- enough to allow access to elec‐
trical connector.
– Disconnect electrical connector.
– Remove tail light cluster -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Removing and installing rear fog light
[X3]
The rear fog light -X3- will henceforth be referred to as “rear fog
light”.
Removal and installation are described for the left vehicle side
as an example.
Removing
– Remove bumper cover ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 63; Rear bumper; Removing and installing bumper
cover.
– Disconnect electrical connector -3-.
– Release retaining clips -2- in direction of -arrow A-.
– Remove rear fog light -1-.
