Removing and installing high-level  
brake light bulb [M25]  
The high-level brake light bulb -M25- will henceforth be referred  
to a “high-level brake light”.  
Removing  
– Remove spoiler trim⇒ General body repairs, exterior; Rep.  
gr. 66; Spoiler; Removing and installing spoiler trim  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to component surfaces.  
– Before using a lever, always mask off the components  
installed in visible areas using commercially available ad‐  
hesive tape.

– Use a commercially available plastic wedge to release high-  
level brake light -1- from retaining clips -2-.  
– Remove high-level brake light -1-.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to high-level brake light from water ingress.  
– When installing high-level brake light, make sure seal is  
correctly seated.  
– The high-level brake light must be heard to engage in rear  
spoiler trim.
