Removing
– Remove onboard supply control unit -J519- ⇒ Rep. gr. 97;
Removing and installing bracket for onboard supply control
unit [J519].
– Unscrew bolts -2- and -3-.
– Remove strut -1-.
– Cut through cable tie on bracket for onboard supply control
unit -2-.
– Release locking lug -1-.
– Release bracket for onboard supply control unit -2- in direc‐
tion of -arrow A-.
– Remove bracket for onboard supply control unit -2- in direc‐
tion of -arrow B-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.

Removing and installing data bus diag‐
nostic interface [J533]
The data bus diagnostic interface -J533- will henceforth be re‐
ferred to as data bus diagnostic interface.
If the data bus diagnostic interface is renewed, perform the test
plan for the renewal of the data bus diagnostic interface using
⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Removing
– Remove glove compartment cover ⇒ General body repairs,
interior; Rep. gr. 68; Compartments/covers; Removing and
installing glove compartment cover.
– Release locking lugs -1-.
– Pull out data bus diagnostic interface -3- until electrical con‐
nectors -2- are accessible.
– Disconnect electrical connectors -2-.
– Pull out data bus diagnostic interface -3-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
– If the data bus diagnostic interface has been renewed, con‐
clude the test plan for the renewal of the data bus diagnostic
interface using ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Removing and installing fan for control
unit [V274]
The fan for control unit -V274- will henceforth be referred to as
“fan for control unit”.
Removal and installation are described for a left-hand drive
vehicle as an example.

– Pull fan for control unit -1- with rubber bushes -3- off bracket
