Removing and installing onboard sup‐  
ply control unit [J519], left-hand drive  
vehicles  
The onboard supply control unit -J519- will henceforth be refer‐  
red to as “onboard supply control unit”.  
If the onboard supply control unit is renewed, perform the test  
plan for the renewal of the onboard supply control unit using  
⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.  
Removing  
– Remove driver side footwell cover ⇒ General body repairs,  
interior; Rep. gr. 68; Compartments/covers; Removing and  
installing driver side footwell cover.  
– Disconnect electrical connectors -2-.

– Release retaining springs -3- in direction of -arrow A-.  
– Swing onboard supply control unit -1- out of bracket -4-.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:  
– If the onboard supply control unit has been renewed, con‐  
clude the test plan for the renewal of the onboard supply  
control unit using ⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Removing and installing onboard sup‐  
ply control unit [J519], right-hand drive  
vehicles  
The onboard supply control unit -J519- will henceforth be refer‐  
red to as “onboard supply control unit”.  
If the onboard supply control unit is renewed, perform the test  
plan for the renewal of the onboard supply control unit using  
⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.  
Removing  
– Remove dash panel trim on front passenger side ⇒ General  
body repairs, interior; Rep. gr. 68; Compartments/covers;  
Removing and installing dash panel trim on front passenger  
side.  
– Disconnect electrical connectors -2-.

– Swing onboard supply control unit -1- out of bracket -4-.  
Installing  
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

– Remove onboard supply control unit ⇒ Rep. gr. 97; Remov‐  
ing and installing bracket for onboard supply control unit  
[J519].  
– Remove interface for entry and start system -J965- ⇒ Rep.  
gr. 94; Remove interface for entry and start system [J965].  
– Cut through cable tie on bracket for onboard supply control  
unit -1-.
