Removing and installing spray jet
5.2.1
Removing and installing spray jet, rear
window washer system
Removing
– Remove carrier for spoiler trim ⇒ General body repairs, ex‐
terior; Rep. gr. 66; Spoiler; Removing and installing spoiler
trim carrier.
– Remove upper rear lid trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior;
Rep. gr. 70; Luggage compartment trims; Removing and
installing upper rear lid trim
– Release and pull off washer fluid hose -2-.

– Disconnect electrical connector -3-.
– Remove wiring harness -1- with sealing grommet -4- to‐
wards rear.
– Pull spray jet with washer fluid hose -1- and electrical wire
-3- through sealing grommet -2-.
– Disconnect spray jet with washer fluid hose -1- for electrical
wire -3-.
– Remove spray jet with washer fluid hose -1-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
NOTICE
Leaks from connection for washer fluid hose.
– When connecting washer fluid hose, securing clip must
engage audibly in connection for washer fluid hose.
– Connect washer fluid hose.
– Use adhesive tape to attach electrical wire to spray jet with
washer fluid hose ⇒ Electronic parts catalogue (ETKA).

Removing and installing spray jet, re‐
versing camera
Removing
– Remove rear lid handle -EX37- ⇒ General body repairs, ex‐
terior; Rep. gr. 55; Rear lid; Assembly overview – electrically
operated rear lid.
– Release locking lug -1-.

– Pull out spray jet -2-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal.
